Message	He never mentions why he's removing the sound deadening, and there are valid reasons. I had to remove mine so the cage builder could do his work...... Like others have said, just break up the dry ice into smaller chunks and let it sit for a little while and then beat on it with a hammer. It'll break up into pieces....pretty easy. I'd recommend starting w/40lbs. It should be enough to do the floorboards and hatch area
